06/06/19 – Acts 4:1-37; Psalm 124:1-8; Proverbs 16:24
Perhaps you are considering sharing your faith with someone or maybe teaching a Bible lesson. But an inner voice says “I do not have enough knowledge” or “I have no presentation skills.” The following verse should reassure you:
Acts 4: 13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
Peter and John were fishermen from an “outback” part of the country. And they even spoke with a different accent from the people in the “city.”
Yet, “they had been with Jesus.” Can you not say the same — not physically but as you encounter Jesus through God’s inspired Word?
