Aquila and Priscilla – a married couple who became vital partners with Paul in spreading the gospel. Not only were they instrumental to his ministry in Corinth we see that they became leaders in the important city of Ephesus. They even established a church in their home (1 Corinthians 16:19.) We see Paul fondly remembering them in his last letter (2 Timothy 4:19.)
And how did they meet Paul in Corinthians? By taking a terrible situation and turning it into serving the Lord. Are we willing to do the same?
Acts 18: After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. 2 There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them, 3 and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them
