Acts 28

Acts 28 13 From there we set sail and arrived at Rhegium. The next day the south wind came up, and on the following day we reached Puteoli. 14 There we found some brothers and sisters who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came to Rome. 15 The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. At the sight of these people Paul thanked God and was encouraged

It is approximately 1,500 miles from Jerusalem to Rome.  In less than 30 years we have seen the church literally explode throughout that entire area of that world.  Most scholars partially credit the earthly reasons for the spread to, as strange as it may seem, the Romans who had enslaved the area.  Without their system of roads and relatively peace travelers would not have been safe.   

Reflect a bit of the power of God’s will – we have seen him use multiple pagan and conquering nations like Egypt, Assyria, Babylon and now Rome to ensure that His Story is complete.
