12/28/19: Revelation 19:1-31; Psalm 147:1-20; Proverbs 31:1-7

On a cloudless, moonless and cold winter night find a place with few lights and just look up at the heavens.  You will be enthralled at the beauty of just seeing stars & maybe be treated to a “shooting star.”  Find one small section & just try to count the number of stars.

Then, once you have given up because even the ones we can see just with our eyes are numberless think about the following passage and reflect on the majesty of God:

Psalm 147:

He determines the number of the stars
    and calls them each by name.
Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
    his understanding has no limit.
