12/30/19: Revelation 21:1-27; Psalm 149:1-9; Proverbs 31:10-24

I can think of no passages of scripture that bring me as much joy, as much hope, & as much assurance as the ones we read today in Revelation 21.  And there are so many it is hard to find just a single  focal point.  But in today’s reading I was drawn to the reality that we will be in the very presence of the Lord – we will “dwell” with Him — we will be his guest for an eternity and receive the promises recorded.

Revelation 21:   And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
