9/3/19: 2 Corinth. 6:14-7:7; Psalm 47:1-9; Proverbs 22:16

As I read the passage from Psalms I, again, needed to ask myself a question.  “What is my attitude when I enter into the auditorium to worship?”  Is my mind still “outside the building” focused on my own concerns?  Or am I entering just to fellowship and chat with friends? Or am I considering worship a time to “speak and perform” in front of others?

Inspired by the Holy Spirit the “Sons of Korah”  penned the overall goal we need to achieve during our worship services — we are there to praise!

Psalm 47:

Sing praises to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth;
    sing to him a psalm of praise.

God reigns over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.
The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings  of the earth belong to God;
    he is greatly exalted.

    Today’s daily bible verse says:
    Isaiah 48:17
    This is what the Lord your redeemer the holy one of Israel says: I am the Lord your God who teaches you to profit (benefit) Who lead you in the way that you should go
    So pray this and say:
    Oh Lord teach me,
    Lead me, give me your wisdom, understanding of your word and knowledge to do your will and serve you
    I praise you my Holy Redeemer.
